Time has passed...

So much time has passed since my last post and so much has changed. My life at some points feels like it is in a constant state of flux. I recently lost some one I was very close to a few months ago and in that moment I felt weak. Weaker then I had in years, and I didn't know who was going to save me. But then days passed and time went on and I started to grow. I picked up my pieces and grew stronger. Those moments when you feel like you cannot handle the change and the challenge, those are the moments that define us. But I didn't feel inspired to write today because of that sadness and burden, I was inspired to write today because of the happiness that is filling my home.

There are mega blocks all over the floor in front of my kitchen. A whole bag, dumped out and scattered, because today Aries decided he wanted to build things and the twins helped. It was beautiful to see as I sat at the table. I sat there working on paperwork and watched my boys learn.

I grabbed a cold bottle of tea from the fridge, because my roommate Caitlin remembered to stock it. The fridge is covered in photos of family and friends.

I got to spend time cuddling each of the twins to sleep tonight. Aries went to bed watching his new favorite movie 101 Dalmatians. A love he now shares with his dad.

I got to hang out with Jeremy, laying around watching dumb videos and looking at funny pictures on iFunny. Just hanging out.

Aries told me today he was HUNGRY, not just that he wanted a snack. Every day, new words, and sentences.

The joy of getting to wear new clothes I got for this season.

Justin found out today they will be extending his work hours back out, so that means more money for Christmas and for our savings.

Everyday I fall more in love with the man of my life as I watch him play with our kids, and spend time with them. He is a amazing father.

Caitlin starts her new job tomorrow, and her new school next week. So much change and she has arranged it all herself. I am so proud of her.

I found the twins matching dinosaur costumes, and Aries has his own, so I will have 3 little dinosaurs to take out trick or treating this year.

All of these beautiful things are why our house is so happy. We have so much good in our lives, so much to be thankful for. Life is never a perfect thing. Things happen, and people come and go. But the truth is if you cannot make it through the hard times and struggle you never get to enjoy the good and all it has to offer. Since having the twins I haven't been as strong as I need to be but I am learning I can be. I can find myself. I can do this. Life is beautiful and I won't let events or people hold me back. I never have before now, and I am not about to start!
Here are just a few of our special moments:
Aries pushing Pikachu in a stoller.

Aries and Draven watching TV together.

Me and Justin in our family photos 2015.

Me and Aries cudding before bedtime.

Caitlin working her magic on the twins before bedtime and playing Xbox.

Jeremy rocking guitar hero at Dave & Busters.

Wedding Dresses for Babies

Why does a baby need a wedding dress? For the saddest reason. When a beautiful baby doesn't make it to this world or leaves us too soon, we want our goodbyes to be special. A donated wedding gown can make any where from 12 to 20 gowns for babies.
Each gown is a unique one of a kind that helps parents feel a little better being able to give their child something beautiful to say goodbye in. These Angel Gowns help grieving parents say I love you and goodbye at the same time. If you would like to see if they offer this in your area, or if you can help, please feel free to check out their site HERE.

There are so many ways we can reach out and help some one, and this is one of the most beautiful ways I have ever seen.

Flea Market

I just recently had my first weekend at Market Place of the America's, a large all indoor flea market. I have a wonderful 10 by 10 booth, with some very nice neighbors.

Above and below are a few of the pictures of my booth, I have tons of great items for sale, for very low prices.
All the clothes I sell are only $1 each. Plus I toys, books electronics, and more.

My booth is nicely located in the 'San Fransico' area of the mall, and is across the hall from the 'Dollar Store'.

I am also selling Pandora Style Beads for only $1 each.

Along with the beads I have been making my own jewelry as well, and they are only $2 each. I have wolf, turtle, button and skull earrings just to name a few.

I started doing flea markets when I was 17 and loved doing it then. I would sit outside, no matter how hot or cold and sell what ever it is I had at the time. My goal is to make enough money off this to open my own thrift store. I make things and buy things at such a low price I am able to pass the bargain onto customers and make a good profit at the same time. It isn't always easy, but I enjoy what I do. I especially enjoy when I can sell some one something that they truly would enjoy or just love to have. I hope you decide to come visit me and the other great vendors at Market Place of the Americas in Columbus.

Family fun

Things have been going well for all of us in the household. Having all this new family has been going really well for all of us. It has been bringing us together and working more together then ever.

Kat has been looking more radiant everyday. She has been enjoying all her new clothes that fit well, and having fun dressing the kids in all their new clothes as well. Melissa loves her new dresses and shoes, where as George is a boy and could care less.

All the nice weather outside has been great for family time. We all take turns working in the yard and playing with the kids.

Justin is even getting in on the kid time. The kids have a blast with all of their new yard toys and bikes.

With all good comes some bad and some times they need time outs. Melissa is really good at her angry time out face as always, but since the kids have been here their behavior all together has been greatly improved.

Progress

I just wanted to update everyone on the progress of the house and the move. Things are going very well! We have about 75 percent of all the furniture moved in. We bought the hardware today to reassemble Jeremys' bed and start assembling the fence. I am excited to start working on that this next week. My mom got me a awesome deal on fencing pickets, so all I had to buy were some screws and one by four boards to put it all together. Things are coming together rather nicely. The dogs are really enjoying the new yard, mostly on days not like today, because it only got colder and colder. As I write this it is only 14 degrees out. Tonight we actually had enough time to sit down and watch a movie. Chris rented Cowboys and Aliens, which was way better then I thought it would be. It actually had a good plot. We got a lot done today too. Chris, Jeremy and I made a trip in the truck and van from storage, and it is now 1/3 empty. This next week I plan on taking a truck or van load to donate to Stepping Stones in Urbana when I go to get free food.  I have some clothes and some other odds and ends to give because they aren't worth the time to try and sell. I am though going to sell some things because I want to buy an additional freezer for us to keep our extra food in. Our current one isn't very large, and cannot hold much. I have been only moving things into the house as I have room for them, so that as we go everything stays clean and organized. With that method so far so good! I finally have a place to store all of our books so we can read them when ever we please. So far I am really happy with this move!

American Eagle

Well, Thursday I start at American Eagle, in the Springfield Mall. I am really excited because I have never worked in a name brand clothing store. I worked at Goodwill selling used clothes, and at Walmart selling generic clothes. This will be my first time actually shopping and selling some expensive clothes! I am very excited though, because I plan on getting Justin lots of new jeans with my discount. I am not sure how much my discount is, but if it makes them more comparable to Walmart Prices, I would really be a happy camper. So I am counting down the days!
