Moving Again

Well, sadly we are moving again. Justin and Chris were unable to raise their credit score enough to to finiance the house so we will be moving temporarily until we can raise Justins credit score again. We are looking at trailers in Mechanicsburg and Rolling Hills. At first I was devestated about the move iteself, but I am looking for the positives in this. First off I see it as a chance to get a even better house, one with all the different things I want, and a yard to fill with a garden and a area for my future children to play in. The second major plus is that we can live some where cheap to pay off debts and fix credit. Which getting ahead is important. So mostly there are little things, because it will suck being in a small place and having all my stuff in storage.

Just an Update

Not much new has happened this week really, but I love to write so I am sure I can come up with something.
Basically Chris and Kat have been applying for jobs all this last week. I got more stuff unpacked that we brought back form Iowa. I am finding tons of treasures I had left behind. We now have all of my DVD's here and many more books. Discovering everything I packed up is like Christmas! Very few things are broken or unusable. There were some issues with mold and some bathroom items dried up, other then that most things survived. It has been bringing back some great memories as well. Sitting back it feels great to know how far I have come in life. My belongings really show how hard work has paid off. We brought back one of my old dressers that is missing two drawers. I keep it because it reminds me that I didn't always own nice things. Plus we need another dresser. When I got that dresser though, it was that dresser or nothing because there was no way we could afford to go out and buy one, where now if I wanted to, we could convert to all matching furniture. I love what we own, and the people I have in my life now.
Having kids here has been nearly as much a pain as joy, but I wouldn't change it for the world. They are great kids, but not perfect like any other kid. I was able to get them free bikes today! We are working harder in getting them potty trained, because Melissa will be going to kindergarten next year. They are smart kids though, and learn quickly.
I guess I would say over all I feel pretty blessed. I keep my life drama free, I have people as my family because they chose to be, and I have everything I need. I am very interested to see what life has in store for us from here!

Hello April!

Welcome to the month of April. This month already holds many changes for my household.
The first huge change is while my van was parked in Newton a drunk driver came around the corner and hit it. It was completely totaled and we are waiting on the check now.

Another huge change for our household is my close friend Kat was able to come and live with us in Ohio. So we have three new additions! Above is Kat.

This is George. He is the cute quiet one.

This is Melissa. She is the hyper talking one.

These are only the beginning of the changes for our household, we are looking at getting zoo passes and other fun stuff.

New and Valentines

I finally got some pictures taken of my new house. Here is one of the front of the house.

Getting moved in is coming along really well, we are mostly settled in. Mom sold me her freezer, so we are getting that all set up. Storage is one third empty, and we are still working on it. Things are going very well!

Then Justin surprised me on Valentines day with this cute PJ set and a pretty bouquet of flowers! I felt like one lucky girl!

Progress

I just wanted to update everyone on the progress of the house and the move. Things are going very well! We have about 75 percent of all the furniture moved in. We bought the hardware today to reassemble Jeremys' bed and start assembling the fence. I am excited to start working on that this next week. My mom got me a awesome deal on fencing pickets, so all I had to buy were some screws and one by four boards to put it all together. Things are coming together rather nicely. The dogs are really enjoying the new yard, mostly on days not like today, because it only got colder and colder. As I write this it is only 14 degrees out. Tonight we actually had enough time to sit down and watch a movie. Chris rented Cowboys and Aliens, which was way better then I thought it would be. It actually had a good plot. We got a lot done today too. Chris, Jeremy and I made a trip in the truck and van from storage, and it is now 1/3 empty. This next week I plan on taking a truck or van load to donate to Stepping Stones in Urbana when I go to get free food.  I have some clothes and some other odds and ends to give because they aren't worth the time to try and sell. I am though going to sell some things because I want to buy an additional freezer for us to keep our extra food in. Our current one isn't very large, and cannot hold much. I have been only moving things into the house as I have room for them, so that as we go everything stays clean and organized. With that method so far so good! I finally have a place to store all of our books so we can read them when ever we please. So far I am really happy with this move!

Moving

Days go by and life keeps on going. We just moved into our new home over this last weekend. We are officially home owners, again! I had to let the lender have my last home back because of safety issues I could not afford to repair. This house though is brilliant! There is nothing wrong with it and nothing needs repair. It is a three bedroom home on just over an acre of land. So we have a huge yard for our little doggies to run in. Then we have a large three car garage with a built on heated shop. There is a full basement, with a large laundry room, two living rooms and dining room. I am super happy with it. We have tons of parking out front, and plenty of room to do what we want with the lot. I plan on fencing most of it for the dogs and future kids. I also plan on putting in a large garden, along with a compost bin. Recycling is very important to me, and composting is a great way to do that. Either this summer or next we will also plant apple trees. The house is located in Mutual, Ohio, but has a Urbana address. We are roughly five miles from fast food, hospitals, and WalMart. So basically far enough away, but not out in the boonies. Mutual doesn't even have a stop sign or zip code, but it is more of a gathering of houses, and they are all pretty nice, so I feel pretty safe here. I would be really happy if I were able to get pregnant and raise a baby here. Weirdly enough it is a Urbana address, but Mechanicsburg schools. Which Mechanicsburg is a tight knit community and very good schools. I may some day want to buy a bigger home on bigger land, but I could see myself here for a long time. I even get my own craft room!

Moving like crazy

Well we rented a uhaul yesterday and got a huge part of the move done. All the major furniture has been moved and a lot of the smaller stuff. Today we have to focus on moving stuff around the house and unpacking a few boxes before we bring more stuff from the old house. The move hasn't been too bad except it stubbed my toenail twice yesterday, but I guess that's my fault for moving in sandals. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but this has the potential to be a really great place.

Okay I feel so excited and yet so blah at the same time. This packing carp has really been wearing me out super bad! On a side note though, my friend Jeremy has offered to pay for me to get a clinic pregnancy test done so I will know if I am pregnant before I leave for Ohio. I am really excited and I am going to go in Monday morning and have it done. I have to have blood drawn which really sucks, but it will be completely worth it to know in the end! Because when we move this weekend it will take all day to load the trailer, all day to drive and another day to unload the trailer. So basically, if I am not pregnant, it is ok to hurt myself doing this, if I am pregnant, I'm gonna wimp out and try to get other people to help us, because there is nooo way I am taking any chances! I want a baby soo bad! I want to be a mommy. Plus I have already started to lower my medications, which has been hell already. So if for some reason I am showing signs of early pregnancy I wouldn't know, because my meds are throwing my body for a loop for me! Coco is doing much better, she can walk, although it is kinda funny. I'm really proud of her though, I though I was gonna have to get her a little doggy wheel chair and squeeze her twice a day so she could pee! I am supposed to keep her on restriction though until the end of July at least. That is a fun game to play, because she thinks she needs to be where mommy is at all times!

We should be moving within the next week. Things are going very well for me in my family. I have a ton more responsibility on my shoulders now with my dad being gone. I have been doing lots of packing, cleaning, and selling of my moms stuff. Also at the same time I have been trying to get pregnant. In two weeks I should be able to know if I am pregnant via test, and a week or so after that I will know if I miss my period. I am excited, nervous, and anxious all at the same time. I have been extra careful with my body to increase my chances of getting pregnant. I have been trying to keep my body the right temperature and not to lift excessive amount of weight. Which has been a struggle because we have been packing and running a yard sale. I believe I felt myself ovulate last week, so I hope that we have some success! My toes look really terrible. Both nails have dried blood underneath them and look really bad. I have clipped off a bunch of them. I have been packing all my baby clothes to go to Ohio and man I have a lot! lol. I think I have serious mommy shopping issues. I really want to have a girl. I will come to accept it if it happens to be a boy, but my heart is truly set on a girl. I am not 100 percent sure Justin is ready to be a dad, but I know I am ready to be a mom. My mom has been super supportive of everything. I started lowering my medication about a week ago. It already has begun to effect me. I have had a couple of anxiety attacks already, and I'm already more easily agitated. But I have to do it for the sake of the baby. Because if I am pregnant right now and don't know it, which is possible, the medication can severely hurt the baby during development. So even if I get a bit crazy, it is worth is to have a healthy baby. I am just really lucky to have great friends like Melissa and Brandon, who have been helping me a lot lately. Justin and Jeremy have been busting their butts working at Trolli, so I don't see them much, but they are making good money :)

Super Changes

It has been a while since I have blogged. Don't think that while I was gone I didn't think about it, all the time. I would want to write but never really found the time or the quiet to do so. As I sit here with a headache, I decided to take this moment of quiet and write. Before I go any further I will be getting into some pretty big TMI for those who aren't interested. First lets start off with the not personal parts.
My family has officially decided to move to Ohio. No more ifs, ands, buts, or maybes. Butch left my mom in a rage, and is now in Ohio. I am trying to help my mom sell off most of her stuff so this move is as easy as possible. We haven't even started in storage yet and we are looking at moving by June 16th. So yeah, things aren't looking well in my perspective on that. I am trying to go with the flow and not stress too bad over it. Because after all, it is my moms life and all I can do is help her to the best of my ability.
Then there is my poor Coco. Some time last Saturday she got hurt, I think falling down the stairs. She is currently paralyzed from the waist down. I have been taking her to the vet twice a day for two days now to get shots to help. She is only showing minimum progress. So I am pretty worried over that. She doesn't complain though, she is my strong girl. I am pretty proud of how well she is taking all of it. She has been confined to a plastic clear tote that has a pillow and food and water for her. The vet gave me the talk today that she may be paralyzed forever, but then reassured me that she may not. Either way, I love Coco, and I would do anything for her. She is my baby and I wouldn't trade her for the world. If she remains this way, I will have to expel her bladder for her several times a day, and eventually find her a mechanism similar to a wheel chair so she can get around. But that is something to look at in the future. For now we are going with day to day treatment, and I try my best to make her happy.
Now is for the TMI. After my adoption falling through I have been doing a lot of medical research and such, had a few doctors appointments and I have decided to try to carry a child. It is very dangerous for me and the child. First off I have to make sure that everyday I am taking my full dose of lymes medication, and on time, to prevent the baby from getting lymes. Then I will have to wean myself off of my anxiety medication. I take a extremely high dose. This medication actually manages my anxiety, bi-polar, and manic depression. So once I am off of it fully I will be very emotionally unstable and unable to go in public places alone, if at all. It is scary for me to think about being off my meds. I like being able to be happy and I am glad I take them. But if I continue to take these medications, it would harm the baby for sure. So the entire time I am carrying, I have to be drug free. Now I know this doesn't sound too hard, and that's right, because it isn't the hard part. Getting pregnant is. This is very TMI, so those of you who just can't take it, look away now! lol.
Basically I found out from my gyno that have a vaginal muscle that in enlarged, and doesn't permit proper insertion of males parts, which thus explains why it has always been too painful for me to lose my virginity. I can only fit things about the size of a tampon in there( which I don't wear because they hurt, btw). So the gyno told me that my options lay between artificial insemination and invitro insemination. Which she highly advised the invitro due to my vaginal sensitivity. So now I am stuck with the fact that to have a baby, I have to have a doctor knock me up for a minimum of ten grand. Which depending on how hard it is, it can go up to 40 grand! So I have decided to attempt to inseminate myself using a children's medicine dropper as my tool. I know this is a lot of personal info, but I really just want to talk about my struggle with this. I am trying for a girl, and there are natural ways of increasing your chances of girls, and I am going to try them. My predicted fertile days are June 1st through the 5th. So wish me luck as I try to finally get the chance to become a mom. Because honestly I am not sure if I could ever afford for a Doctor to have it done.

Great News! Justin got told today that they will be starting work ASAP! Which is gonna be great. He will be out of state for nearly two months, but will be back in time for my birthday. I am getting a lot of hours at my new job. I like it a lot. When Justin goes to his new job I may go visit him and see the sites down there. He is going to Omaha,NE. I am gonna miss him, but I think the time apart will be good for us. Plus I think this job is going to toughen him up a lot. All the dogs are doing good on their house training so far. Mom is loving her new Pomeranian Abby. She is a sweet little fluff. I have been cleaning out my storage like crazy. I am selling my sectional sofa, and a lot of my bigger furniture. If I can get everything together I may have a yard sale this Saturday. My mom is going through her stuff too. Not as fast as me, but I am one of those people that I want things done fast!

Changes

Wow, it has been a long time since I have written, but that's okay. I have been super busy with a lot of different things! First off Coco's puppies will be nine weeks old on Sunday and they are still for sale! As well as Egypt, who is eight months old this month. We couldn't get our basement fixed at our old house, so we decided moving was the best option. After being given a long run around, we were able to get financed to buy a three bedroom manufactured home at the Sunrise Terrace Mobile Home park. The house has to stay here for four years, after that we plan on moving it to some land we plan on buying between now and then. We moved in here the last week of September, and so far I love it here. We are building custom shelves into the living room wall, so we have a nice place to store all our movies in there. I have been working on sanding and staining the wood myself. Chris is the builder and puts it all together. I think I am going to put one big shelf in my bedroom as well, for all my books. The master bedroom has a large garden tub that looks like a hot tub! I love all the space we have here. Plus they gave us our own space to store my car. Justin finally got me to go to one of this Pokemon tournaments with him. I played and had a blast. We are planning on going back again.
The house is still a moving mess for the most part. I don't work at Wal-Mart anymore. I got fired for stupid reasons, which was proven since I get unemployment from them. I still work at the library, but I am looking for a desk job at a hotel preferably. My Lyme's is up and down right now, I haven't finished transferring all my paper work yet so I can see my family doctor, instead of the dude in Grinnel who was ripping us off. I have been having big issues with putting things off lately, I know about things I have to get done, but I just seem to forget until I am in bed at night. It is very frustrating. I have been working on it.
A couple of days ago, we decided to take on a special needs dog. Her name is Lulu and she came from a drug house. She is ten weeks old and can't walk. Basically our goal is in the next six months is to teach her how to walk and be a normal dog her age. She is a sweet white terrier mix. She is always so happy too. Today we got her to play with all the puppies and it was pretty fun. We did have one couple come and look at buying one of the puppies today, but they said they would have to think about it. They were looking for a smaller chihuahua then these. Mine at the biggest are only ten pounds, but then I guess they were looking for something tiny. I really need to get at least one sold because I am taking Coco in to get fixed in a week and a half. So I could really use the money for that.
My family has the flu, so I am avoiding them for now. I have started my Christmas shopping. Everyday is a challenge to unpack more and get stuff done!

Saturday, July 11, 2009

I haven't written in a while. Mostly because I play Sims and update that blog more with my current story line. I have been working a lot too. Justin lost his job on Friday. So even if I am sick I have to work to pay the bills. If he doesn't get a job in two weeks then off to flipping burgers it is. He won't just sit around jobless. I am going Monday to see if my co-signer will qualify for the home loan with us, and I am very excited. I think it will go well. I also have a back up. If all goes as planned I want to be moved by the end of the month. I have so many people interested in the apartments it is crazy. I have the down payment saved already and everything else is set in motion. I am pretty proud of myself for handling everything really. I have been working two jobs, plus I am more sick then I have been before. The first few days to a week I am was on my medication for my Lymes Disease I felt great. Now the bacteria is fighting back and I feel like dirt. I have gotten some sort of infection in my kidneys now. It is a stabbing pain. It woke me up this morning. The fatigue has gotten worse. Although it doesn't last as long.
I think the hardest part of my disease is what it does to my memory. I have really bad memory, especially short term. I often repeat myself, and ask questions m ore then once. I forget where I am going or what I am doing. Thank god I have Justin to help me remember to take all the meds that I am on. I am on four different things, that I take at three different times during the day.
Not like I don't have enough to do already, I have decided to foster a dog.
http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=13823746
Her name is Cody and she will be staying with me until she can find a forever home. She seems like such a sweet dog. I hope bringing her to Iowa will help her find a true home.
That's all that is going on now, not much else really.

I am a happy camper for sure. Today we got the new coat rack hung up, and the coats put on it. I had a appointment scheduled for Barneys to come out and move the car, and that they did. So now it is safely in the garage, and are yard is now up to legal standards. I am happy about it. The carpets were cleaned on sat, and they look good. I put down rugs to protect them from having to be cleaned again. When the sebring was put in the garage, we found out a bunch of the bolts came loose and fell off the door, so we went to True Value, and picked up the bolts for it. They are really nice there. I was going to put them on today, but it got really cold out and flurried a little. We also folded six loads of laundry today, and got it all put away. I packed up some more boxes as well. So all in all, today was productive, and I think it was a good day. Oh, and we changed the furnace filter. I almost forgot the best part of today!! Justin had an interview with TPI!! I am so excited, it went very well and we will find out in the next few weeks if we gets it!!

Sunday, September 21, 2008

Today was really productive. I got the living room almost completely cleaned out. The books shelf is in there now and floor got cleaned. I had a bunch of boxes to move and they got moved where they belong. It is looking so much better now. I am really happy. Chris has been working on laundry all day. That's all he wanted to do today since he got up at 5 am throwing up. Poor thing, I got up with him and got him a glass of water and a cold wet cloth. He got to revisit his entire dinner. But I think he is feeling a bit better today. He ate the chili I made for dinner. Me and Justin got the tomato and onion for the chili from my moms. Justin helped me a lot with the house work today. We had a little drama because of his mom. She said she would pay for the repairs I did to his car and now she is going back on it. Which is really pissing me off. She really needs to grow up. She called him to come pick her up from the bar the other night because she got drunk off her ass. Zoe's kitten is getting so big. He is such a cutie. He sat up on his own today. Zoe decided the best place to have him was in Justins pant drawer. Justins dog Skeeter peed on the floor today and we aren't sure why. He has been acting kinda funny in my opinion. I need to work on getting rid of the couch, chair, recliner and the stuff on the front porch. We need extra cash, but we need to empty out the house too. I have been taking a bunch of stuff up to the consignment shop. I gave a bunch of stuff to my mom to give to her friend. I helped mom pick apples yesterday with her friend. It was kinda fun. Now I can have apples when ever I want for a while. There are a few in the fridge now. All in all, things are going very well. Once I get together the money to get the house appraised, we can have the house refinanced. So I am very excited about that. I am still not sure what will be happening at Prairie Meadows. I just don't want to go back there really. It just really sucked. But you have to do what you have to do. I have a bunch of swap-bot things to mail tomorrow. I am so excited about that. It has been really fun so far.

Tuesday, July 22, 2008

Well, today has been fairly productive. I got a bunch of stuff ready for hte lard sale and hung out with Krystal for once. She is a awesome person to hange out with and I got a lot done. Coco is napping and laying here on my lap. I love her so much! Oh, and we went and drove around town a little to look at some of the houses we are interested in buying. I think I may buy a house now instead of the apartment building. But there are several triplexes and fourplexes I am interested in too. But I am not going to even go look at the insides until I get this house ready to go on the market. I can't afford both while I am on the income I am now. With all the over time I am working though, I might be able to catch up. I am considering taking a second position at Prairie Meadows instead of working as much over time, because I am hitting a hard tax bracket and making squat. If my checks were separate it wouldn't be so bad. There is a opening in the gift shop I a would like. So I am going to apply for that and see how it goes. That is my update for the day.

Remodeling Party!

Well, everyone is invited over on Tue and Wed of this week, because I am having a big remodeling party. I will have drinks and anyone who helps out, I will take you out to Cici's my treat when we are all done! We will be tearing up flooring and carpet, running wire, wallpapering, painting, putting up the new shower curtain and rod, and possiably pulling up carpets! Plus I am getting rid of a ton of things, so I will give them to my friends for free!! So bring your self and all the little helpers you can! Kids are welcome to come to, everyone can find a way to help. If any one has a truck that would be super helpful, because thanks to all the rain I have four inches in the basement and my ex was stupid enough to put things on the floor, so most of it will have to be hauled off to the dump. Thanks and I can't wait to see you guys there!

I will post before and after pictures!

As soon as I get this done, I can sell this place and buy the apartment building up town! Well, I am actually going to buy the apartment building as soon as I get this on the market, so lets get it done already!

Sunday, February 03, 2008

I am going to be home for a while. I don't work again until Friday. I sold the stove. Which I thought was pretty small, but once you take it out of that kitchen it makes it way bigger! I have a lot more work to do. I am actually starting to feel back to normal though. I just have the normal runny nose stuff. I have to get everything done in the living room so I can bring more stuff into the living room, because I need to bring things in form the garage. Once I get the garage cleaned out, then all the furniture I am keeping goes in there. So I am very happy about it all. Chris is going to be buying a lot of the supplies, like paint and such. I am excited, because I am very very close to the painting point! He is supposed to talk to a friend of his to see about getting the kitchen rewired for the new fridge and stove. So everything is happening. I am really happy. I can just imagine myself now in my new house!! Plus with everything packed up the way it is, it is easier to move, and keep things clean here. I just pray for no more huge amounts of snow! It makes it hard to get around. Plus I need to make the garage door pretty, and I can't do that if it is freezing out!

No time to Play

Well, I am home alone and this is pretty unusual. I am getting more boxes packed up. The only issue is I am out of boxes. Plus I let Chris take the car to work. I really need to go over to my moms and borrow her vacuum. Linda was really nice and gave me one, but it didn't work. It may just need cleaned out or something, but it wasn't really picking stuff up. So I am back to a no vacuum dilemma. I have been trying to get things cleaned up and done, but it just seems like I am not getting any where. There is so much stuff I can't pack because we use it all. Coco is getting annoyed with me because I am not playing with her. So I have to keep stopping and playing with her. Poor baby, she just wants to play. Cy has a attitude problem. He wants to play with any one but her. He was playing with her a little bit last night, but I am worried he would hurt her. We haven't seen the attic at the new house yet. I am hopeing to be pleasantly suprised. We know there is an attic because there are two windows up there and they are open. I am just wondering how long they have been open. Because the house belonged to a little old lady. If it was hard to get up there I don't see some little old lady doing that. But I am wondering how much space is up there. I am just one of those people I hate to waste useable space. Like the basement, it is as big as the upstairs floor. Throw down some carpet and walls, and you might as well be living in a two story house! So I am very excited. My dad is going to do some work on the kitchen, so it is bigger. Eventually I am going to put a bathroom down stairs. What sucks though, is even if I put two more bedrooms down stairs and a bathroom, if I sell it they don't count. So basically some one has to discover that the house is twice as useful as it is listed as.

Shower

This was one of those morning where I woke up and was like I have to shower or I am gonna die. I felt so icky. I might even wash all my bed sheets. I had Chris take the kids home. I think I am supposed to watch them tonight, but me and Jeremy are going to Bonnaza with Brian. Coco is taking one of her many naps. I didn't feed her dinner last night because she slept through it. Well this morning when I fed her she looked overly skinny. So now I know to wake her up and feed her. She is such a sweet baby. I played with her in bed for a while this morning. I usually go to WalMart for everything, but I am going to try for a little while to make a habit of going to Hy-Vee so we can get those reciepts. I think I will qualify for heating assistance this year so that will really help. I don't think I will be getting a job until after the move because we need to find Chris's birth certificate and I think I packed it up like a long long time ago. Which wasn't really the best idea. I am going to look around to make sure, but I am postive I packed it. All the laundry is caught up. I have a load in the dryer to fold, and then I need to get evertything put away and I am good!
Everyone is going to start getting upset with me, because from today on it is less then a week until we move, which meanas I am packing everything!
