Happy New Year!

Now that 2013 is coming to a close, I would like to take a moment to review the awesome moments of this year! There is so many great things that happened.
I began the year, already pregnant. I was 13 weeks along on Jan. 1st, 2013. That was really a interesting way to begin the year.
We spent a lot of time searching for a new home and getting ready for baby to arrive. We found out at the end of January that we were having a baby BOY.
Then finally on June 27th, 2013 we got to meet our little man! Aries Michael Moran was born at 8:11am, weighing in at 8 pounds and 4 ounces. It was love at first sight for sure.
Now not too long after that we had another addition to the family, only in a different way. Justin's mother Kim decided to join us and move to Ohio. Aries gets to see his grandmother everyday, and he is very attached to her.
Now time flies when you are having fun, and time did fly. Bottle after bottle, and day after day, our little man grew and our family got closer. Aries turned 3 months, went to the fair as a family, and went to see Ronald McDonald.

Then we all had a super fun Halloween!

Thanks Giving was fun, we all went to Kims and ate a huge meal. Then went Black Friday shopping for Christmas gifts.
Then we had a super fun Christmas! First we took Aries to see Santa!
We had our Christmas Eve at Kims house, and we all got wonderful gifts from each other. It was so much fun, especially Aries opening all his gifts.

Then Christmas day we were home opening gifts from Santa! I have to say we were all very spoiled.

I have to say over all this has been a pretty amazing year. So many changes and so many happy things. I am so excited to see what 2014 has in store for us!

Happy New Years to all my friends and family! I wish everyone tons of love, happiness, and health in the new year! Take this year and make your dreams come true!

Holiday Organization

Merry Christmas! Well, a few days ago anyways. Now that the holidays are over it is time to pack up all the pretty decor for next year. The first few days after Christmas I spend hitting up several stores to find great deals on wrapping paper, boxes, general decor, and some gifts for holidays in the next few months. This year I got 50 cent rolls of wrapping paper, I paid $5.25 for 30 pretty gift boxes, and unsure of how many or how much I spent on plain ones. We do gift boxes for adults when possible, because we tie closed with curling ribbon, and reuse the boxes each year, saving money and the environment. I got a few cute ornaments to add to our collection and a new star for the tree for only $5.

The tote pictured above is a new addition to our storage. A key factor in my opinion. No matter how we stored our wrapping paper it always got squished. Always. So we got three of these nice containers with clip on lids. The one pictured has roughly 30 rolls of wrapping paper in it, and I think I could squeeze a couple more in. I have another about half full of misc holiday wrap, like for birthdays.

This year we expanded from one tote of lights to two totes! I got some cute lighted garland for sale. This year I also printed off labels from my computer to show the holiday and the contents.

We actually have 3 of these smaller totes full of ornaments. Most of them are plastic, but some are still glass. Keeping them in smaller containers like this we don't use any wrap or padding, and they don't get broken. Plus since the totes say ornaments on them, people know to handle them carefully.

Another new addition this year was this card tote I got at Meijers. It was only $6. I labeled the top and front, and it worth the money already. I found random partial packs the cards all over in the Christmas decor. I was able to throw away all those packs, saving space, and easily find them all in one space.

We own a lot of just random decor too. Things such as stockings, stocking hooks, wall hangings, tree skirts, glass figurines, lawn decor, rugs, and place mats. So total we have two of these larger totes full.

Sadly, although everything you see is all organized, and ready to be put away for another year, I am positive there is more Christmas decor hidden in my storage unit, just waiting to be discovered.

Christmas Traditions

This is year was a my little mans first visit with Santa. He did so well, and was pretty interested in him too. Now that he is here it has made me think of all the holiday traditions we had as kids that I want to share with him. Whether it be tons of gifts or decorating we want to make the most magical memories possible.

So here is my holiday tradition list!
1. We believe in Santa. Every year we counted down to his visit and could barely sleep on Christmas eve from the excitement of what would take place the next day.
2. Stockings. Our stockings were always packed with a mixture of toys and goodies. We also opened them first. Pulling out a few things on top and then eventually pouring them out on the floor.
3. Taking Pictures. My parents used to film us on Christmas morning, but it was very frustrating for us kids. We had to behave and sit still and the camera took forever to set up. Then later we got in trouble if we acted bad when we opened a gift, like if we didn't like it. So my family tradition is pictures only. Catch some special minutes on film, and then lots of pictures to remember the day.
4. Going to get our picture taken with Santa. It is super fun and special to get to visit Santa, sit on his lap, and tell him what you want for Christmas.
5. Writing letters to Santa. I loved to write him a letter and usually draw him a picture too to send to him with my Christmas list.
6. Leaving Milk and cookies for Santa. We also would leave some carrots for his reindeer, since they work so hard. It was always a warm feeling to find in the morning that he ate the cookies, and some times would leave a little thank you note too.
7.Getting a new ornament every year. Every family member gets their own special ornament each year to decorate the tree with.
8.Sledding! I can't remember a year where we didn't go sledding. Outside for hours, only to come in and have hot chocolate. Pealing off out snow pants and jackets, tossing our boots by the door. The joy of not being able to feel our fingers and toes.
9. Baking Christmas cookies and hardtack candy. My mom always made home made hard tack handy in many flavors, and we loved it. Then we always made cookies and decorated them with sprinkles and colored sugar. It was so much fun.
10. Opening presents from friends and family on Christmas Eve. This was so much fun, because it basically split up gifts into two days. Making it twice the fun.
11. Hanging Lights. Now we didn't hang them as kids, but our parents did, and it made the night time magical. I loved it when they were done and we could turn on the lights for the first time. Then we would drive around and look at all the neighbors who did it too!
12. Singing! We would wake up to our mom blaring Christmas music on the stereo. It was so much fun to dance around the house singing songs about the holiday.
13. Our NEW tradition is going to be Elf in the shelf. I think we will have so much fun with this little guy in the years to come.
14. Cards. We love to send out cards each year to all our friends.

I am sure there are more, and we will make many more. But here are mine now!

December is Here!

December hasn't always been a great time of year for me. Growing up it was pretty magical, since my mom went all out for Christmas and decorated like it was going out of style. We woke up to cranked up holiday tunes and mom decorating the house like it was the last Christmas ever.  Then once I hit my late teens things kinda fell apart and then most of my adulthood it was kinda a hit or miss each year. The last four years with Justin have been pretty great, rich or poor. This year though has a magical touch that no other year has had.
Aries.
Having a child to celebrate the holiday for makes it ten times more important and magical. We are decorating so much more, shopping more, and just all around getting into the season more. Will he remember this year? Nope. But we will. We will remember every smile and giggle. We will remember how much he loved the lights and the wrapping paper. I am more excited to see him open his gifts then I am to even open mine this year. I want to buy him a million things, but have kept the number a little lower.
This will be a December I will never forget. That one is for sure.
The picture above is of our very first live tree this year.

30 Things I want my kids to know about me Part 5

Wow, some serious spam and rude comments on my last post. Awesome. Well, to those of you out there, if you don't like, don't come back! I write this blog because it makes me happy, not to please any one else.

NOW! To continue on with the list!

Question Number 14:
Describe 5 Weaknesses and Strengths you have.
Weaknesses:
1. I am forgiving. I always think there is the best in people, so people end up using me and throwing me aside. Especially family.
2. I literally have no upper body strength. I can only lift about 40 pounds over my head. I am hoping lifting a baby everyday as they grow may finally help that though.
3. I have severe anxiety. Most people with this condition do not consider it a weakness, but I do. It has gotten worse as I have gotten older and honestly, I miss the days where I wasn't afraid to make phone calls or go new places.
4. I overload myself. I have a tendency to think I can take on more then I can possibly handle and I spread myself too thin. Some times I can balance the chaos and some times it kills me.
5. I am addicted to acquireing objects. Not exactly buying, although I love to shop! Not stealing, I am just rally good at always getting things for free! Which is bad when you come from a long line of hoarders.
Strengths
1.I am ambitious. If I want some thing I am always willing to work hard to get it, and there are some things in life that only hard work will get you.
2. I am creative. Whether it is making art or figuring out ways to save money or be greener, I use my creativity to think out side the box and find a better solution.
3. I am a multitasker. I do well with more the one focus at a time. As long as I don't over load myself I enjoy doing many things at once, or having various projects to work on.
4. I am caring. I love to help people. I enjoy volunteer work. I would nurture a sick animal in a heartbeat.
5. My greatest strength is my ability to walk away from the worst and over come it. Through hard times in bad I have always found a inner strength to carry on.

Question Number 15:
Describe when you knew your spouse was the one or how I fell in love.
This is really one of my favorite questions so far! I fell in love with Justin the day I met him. It was love at first site. Now don't get me wrong, we didn't start drooling over each other or nothing like that, but it was definitely big smiles and giggles all day. We had a afternoon date, where we went out to eat. We didn't eat, because we were both too nervous to. We went back to his place to hang out and listen to music and stuff, and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I felt such a strong connection with him I said yes, and I may have been really super thrilled he asked too. I had gone through probably 6 to 10 guys in the past 6 months, nothing serious, just a date or two and then over. I was really starting to think there were no guys out there that wanted to settle down and be serious. I had a great career, home and job, I just wanted some one to share it all with. Justin showed up and it was like a dream come true. Things weren't always perfect, but we worked through them, and he NEVER gave up on me. So, is there true love at first site? Yes, there is.

Question Number 16:
What are your 5 greatest accomplishments?
Not necessarily in this order:
1. Bought my first home at 21.(Don't own it now, but I lived there for 2 happy years)
2. Finally getting pregnant at 25.(After two long years of trying)
3. Graduating High School after being kicked out my senior year for being injured. Not to mention my family degrading me, calling me a high school drop out.
4. Learning to love ME. After being made fun of by people I went to school with and family, it took me a long time to learn to love myself, and be proud to be me, and I finally am.
5.Adopting my first 'child' Coco. If you don't have a pet you deeply love you won't understand, but Coco will always be more then a dog to me. She was my training kid. We are really close and bonded and I don't care if I am homeless, I promise to always take care of my baby. She is the reason I know I will be a good mom when the time comes.

Question Number 17:
What is the thing you most wish you were great at?
Well, one of two things, I always wanted to be a great singer. I am ok, but not amazing. The other would be I wish I had gotten a serious college education, and had a real career in marketing and business.

Question Number 18:
What do you think your spouse loves most about you?
I think he loves either the fact I love him for who he is or that I am smart. Up until recently, I was the one deciding and solving 99% of all our problems. Life is like a puzzle and he knows he can depend on me to figure out how it best goes together.

Question Number 19:
How did you feel the moment you became a parent?
The baby isn't here yet, but the moment the doctor said I was pregnant my whole world changed. It was like everything went from black and white to rainbows of color. I instantly had mommy vision. I saw cars and thought of if a carseat would fit in there, or would that be safe for my teen to be driving? I no longer saw the menu at the restaurant as what ever sounded good, it was what healthy? Do they offer a good kids menu? In the last three months I have been thinking about college money and buying his or her first car. Before, it would be me thinking of making crafts or jewelry and maybe looking for a flea market to sell my stuff. Or what could me and Justin do together this weekend. But now it isn't about me anymore. The moment I became a parent, I opened my eyes to a new world, a world for three instead of two.

Question Number 20:
Describe 3 significant memories from your childhood.
1. Not sure on a specific year or age, besides between the ages of 4 and 7. Every Thanks Giving and Christmas was a really awesome time at my house. Me and my brother were basically the only grand kids so holidays were celebrated at our house. My mom always went all out, huge meal, tons of decor, and tons of presents and family every where. I will never forget having such an awesome holiday and I hope I can provide my kids with the same.
2. I remember one time our back yard flooded, I want to say in the fall. The leaves had fallen off the trees and there was just enough moisture left in them that they coated the ground and it rained a lot, and it made it hard for the ground to absorb the water. So there was a foot to two feet of water in our back yard, and I played in it with my brother and step siblings, and it was just a awesome weird experience.
3. When I was in kindergarten or first grade in the summer my mom had me lay down for a nap and she laid down for a nap. Before she went to lay down I asked her to open my window. I wasn't strong enough to open it myself and I had plans. As soon as she laid down I shut my bedroom door and popped the screen out of my window and got out. I went next door, a house my mom used to live in and used as storage, broke into there and got a kite out. I flew it all after noon. Then I put it back. But when I got home I didn't realize I couldn't get back in the window and had to go in the front door. It was a adventure, and my mom was pissed. Looking back now, I think I was a pretty clever kid.

Week 11

I am pretty sure I said in my last post I was 11 weeks, which wasn't correct. Mondays are my week change days and I am now 11 weeks. I am due on a Monday and with a double check on a backward count I am 11 weeks as of December 17th, 2012. It still blows my mind that I am pregnant! It is starting to show too. Below my rib cage I normally curve inward and between my hip bones I normally curve in. Now even when I suck in, I barely break even. So it is really starting to show as it fills out my figure. Sadly my organs don't share my happiness over the matter, and do not appreciate the baby moving them out of his or her way, no matter how slow they are doing it. I was curious of how far along I was in months and then also when my first trimester would be over. I think if something was wrong I would sense it, but that first trimester milestone really sets a lot of fears on the back burner. So it is looking like 3 more weeks and we will be in the clear. I was thinking around new year it would be good.

Pregnancy Changes: 11 Weeks

I just got out of the shower and while I was in there I did some deep thinking. Well, I did some thinking lets say that. The biggest thought on my mind was how my body and habits have already changed so much now that I am pregnant. So instead of fulling up facebook with tons of random statuses on what my body is up to, I thought a nice blog would summarize it. I am 11 weeks today, roughly.

First off is the visible physical changes. There isn't anything noticeable unless I am in my undies. Basically the space between my hip bones no longer curves in and has begun its slight curve outward. I am also slightly bloated, so it has me a little pudge around the middle. So basically slightly bigger, but I think I still could take a decent bikini picture.

Next is the eating. Cravings set in early. They are more like urges. Except for meat. That one is a craving for sure. Before I was pregnant I ate on average twice a day. I ate around noon something small, and then a larger dinner. It wasn't me starving myself either, I just wasn't hungry. That has completely changed now. I feel hungry what seems like all the time! I can eat and be hungry an hour later. Now I eat a small breakfast, trying to eat something that will sit well on my stomach to start the day. Then usually some sort of couple of bites snack, and either a couple more snacks or a lunch, then I have dinner. Which thank god I am finally feeling well enough to cook. Then after dinner I stay up late, so usually two more snacks. If I nap during the day it eliminates one or two snacks all together. The biggest change is the meat. I crave meat. I am nearly a vegetarian, and now I am wanting a damn near raw steak! Meat has always been something I was super picky about because I don't like cutting it up, hard to chew, doesn't sit well with my stomach. I am basically like an old person when it comes to REAL meat. Give me cold cuts or ground meat any day and no big deal. Now I am all over steaks, chops, you name it!

Another big change is mood. Half of this change is pregnancy change and the other half is no meds change. The pregnancy part is the tears. I cry over EVERYTHING. A picture of a puppy and baby? Tears. Sharing a Christmas memory? Tears. It has been crazy. That super cute baby outfit at WalMart? Tears. The other big mood change is no drugs. Stress equals Anger. Flat out. I try not to interact with anyone outside my household for fear I will freak out. I haven't yelled at anyone outside of immediate family and friends who understand. Which is good.  The mixture of my anxiety and bipolar, and the fact I am pregnant, make me get super angry over normally small stressors that don't even merit a reaction half the time. So it goes without saying I cannot wait to be back on my happy pills. I recognise I have a problem and to be a good functioning person I need medication. I can't even tell my reactions are irrational at times. But it is good I can see that.

The last thing I can think of that has really changed is I have extreme and vivid dreams. I normally dream every night, but this is so different. I dream more detailed dreams and more creative dreams. Dreams I remember much more details to, and ones that convince me when I wake up that my reality has changed. I was convinced the other day when I woke up that Justin never existed!! Crazy!

Just an Update

Not much new has happened this week really, but I love to write so I am sure I can come up with something.
Basically Chris and Kat have been applying for jobs all this last week. I got more stuff unpacked that we brought back form Iowa. I am finding tons of treasures I had left behind. We now have all of my DVD's here and many more books. Discovering everything I packed up is like Christmas! Very few things are broken or unusable. There were some issues with mold and some bathroom items dried up, other then that most things survived. It has been bringing back some great memories as well. Sitting back it feels great to know how far I have come in life. My belongings really show how hard work has paid off. We brought back one of my old dressers that is missing two drawers. I keep it because it reminds me that I didn't always own nice things. Plus we need another dresser. When I got that dresser though, it was that dresser or nothing because there was no way we could afford to go out and buy one, where now if I wanted to, we could convert to all matching furniture. I love what we own, and the people I have in my life now.
Having kids here has been nearly as much a pain as joy, but I wouldn't change it for the world. They are great kids, but not perfect like any other kid. I was able to get them free bikes today! We are working harder in getting them potty trained, because Melissa will be going to kindergarten next year. They are smart kids though, and learn quickly.
I guess I would say over all I feel pretty blessed. I keep my life drama free, I have people as my family because they chose to be, and I have everything I need. I am very interested to see what life has in store for us from here!

Christmas

So far this has been a amazing and wonderful Christmas. My life compared to how things have been in the past has been very amazing and wonderful by itself. The van is broke down, but we have three other cars that run, so it isn't even stressful not to have it on hand. Justin and I opened out gifts to each other already, so we could begin to enjoy them right away. I got Justin a wide variety of things, like a sexy blue shirt, tons of scary movies, and some angry birds stuff. Oh and we can't forget candy. Justin is a little kid at heart and so I had to get him some candy. I didn't have any big stockings so this year I bought 4 little ones and we each got a candy bar and Justin bought us all scratch off tickets. Which awesomely enough I was the only one who didn't win. So, in the end they were a nice thought, just not for me!

I got this super cute panda purse and matching wallet!

Justin also got me tons of craft supplies such as ribbon, paint, and glitter glue!

PANDA DUCK!

Best of all, Justin got me every single expansion to my Sims3 games!!!

Christmas Time

Once again Christmas has rolled around on us. The year has flown by and we are putting up trees and shopping like mad! I think I finally have all my shopping done. I wrapped it up on Black Friday. I would love to write a blog on the Black Friday deals I got, but 90% of the are Christmas gifts, and cannot be revealed until December 25th. So, that being said, this blog is going to be about just Christmas sadly. First off, I already had a head start in my wrapping and used a ton of gift boxes I purchased last year marked down after the holidays.

That is my huge stack of wrapped gifts, all for Chris, Jeremy, and Justin. I still have a lot more wrapping to do before I am finished and I am custom making a few gifts as well. So I have a lot do do before I am done, but I am excited to see what everyone thinks of their gifts this year. Last year we were really tight and Christmas just wasn't that great. I also have my tree up and decorated, but I want to add some more ornaments before I take pictures. This year is a blue and silver theme.

Awesome Winter Gear

Today we had our yearly holiday meeting at American Eagle. At which they introduced two of their newest products, which I had to have! The top picture is my new earmuffs which are also headphones, and the bottom picture is a stock picture of Justin's new beanie, which also has headphones connected in it! I love the bright colors of mine and Justin just loves that his have head phones in them. They have a assortment of colors for both styles and they are pretty affordable too. They are roughly $20, add tax and etc. I got me and Justin's both for only $20 because of my employee discount! So I have to say I am pretty happy camper and thanks to American Eagle some people are gonna get some rocking Christmas presents!

November!

Wow, it is so crazy November is already here! I had a pretty good October, with the minor exception of Jeremy losing his new job. But I went and got my nails done for the first time!

I love how they turned out! Things are going well and I am deep into my Christmas shopping. I already have gifts for everyone in my household. I have no idea what to buy my brother and sister! I dont really know what they are into. I did purchase several Halloween markdowns today, but I have to say my favorite is the pumpkin piggy bank I got.

It was only $5 at Target!

Sick

Well I have had this crazy head cold for a entire week now and I seriously starting to get really whiny about it. I am getting really excited about Christmas though because I know Justin is gonna get me some awesome gifts! I got him some good ones, so I know this will be fun. I picked up a roll of wrapping paper today, but other then that I am using gift boxes that are reusable to help cut back on cost and waste. One point for the environment! Speaking of that I have to find a way to recycle paper goods here in Mechanicsburg. I have been saving all my boxes and now I am starting to save my papers too. I realized how much wood byproduct I have been throwing out and it bothers me. Seriously, even if every person just recycles a little, it makes a huge difference in the future of our planet!
I bought Coco a dog sweater today at walmart. It is adorable. It is purple with a velvet purple bone on the back. She of course doesn't like it, but will wear because she is a good girl. I got it because I have been going back and forth to my moms a lot and I take Coco with me. I don't always wait for the car to warm up, so she can stay a little warmer with her sweater. Plus my mom has a tendency to keep her house kinda cold, so I usually take a light jacket myself. She has always been that way and it really sucked growing up there! I froze my butt off! But it saves on the electric.
Well I am off to bed and hope this cold will go away!

Feeling Pretty!

Well, I know my mom is going to love this post, because most of it is about the stuff she bought me for Christmas. Today I decided I would try out the make-up and stuff she bought me. First off I was addicted to some make-up when I was younger, but kind of grew out of wearing it on a regular basis. I think that is mostly because I developed a kind of allergy to it. Mostly I think it is because I wore the cheap stuff. I mean when I was a kid I mostly wore Avon, which isn't too bad. When I moved out on my own, I in no way could afford to pay ten bucks for mascara! So I eventually stopped wearing it all together. Not that it was a bad thing, because during that time I really learned to love how I look naturally. Which being able to accept yourself as you are is very important. Anyways, my mom has discovered a really awesome way to get make-up cheaply from Walgreens. So for Christmas she got me a nice make-up bag and tons of quality make-up that is mostly nourishing or hypoallergenic.

Okay, first off today I wore Rimmel eye liner. Which was really awesome, because it goes on smoothly, and I don't have to press very hard. My eyes are a little sensitive. Then I wore Almay one coat nourishing mascara. This is a great product because I even took a nap wearing it, and it doesn't do that thing were it gets your lashes all crunchy and itchy. I tried out some of the eye shadow, it was Markwins, a nice bronze color. Which the lipstick was the same brand. I loved the color because it was a nice auburn that had a slight glitter to it.

Now my biggest issue is finding cover up that works, doesn't itch, and doesn't come off with the slightest touch. Today I tried out the Cover Girl Aqua smooth mom got me. You use a small sponge and rub it onto trouble areas. It blends really nice and I couldn't even tell I was wearing it.

Honestly, if I had to go out and buy all this off the shelf full price I would say she could have easily spent two to three hundred dollars on the make-up. The stuff I mentioned above is only a couple of the things in the bag she got me. I have several different types of cover up, mascara, lipstick, eye shadow, and eye liner. She also got me some gentle makeup remover. I also use cleansing pads on my face so it stays more clear.

Trust me, I never thought I would see the day I would write an entire blog post about make-up, but honestly I went out today and felt pretty. It made me feel more confident to know that I didn't just look ok, I looked really good. Confidence is key to happiness and success in life.

Merry Christmas

I was having some strong thoughts and really just wanted to share them.
First of all this may be the very best Christmas I have had in years. I have a amazingly wonderful loving boyfriend, Justin, who has given me wonderful gifts and showered me in love and affection. My ex who is my roommate, Chris, has been just a great friend all together and very supportive of me. Then my family has been amazing. I was able to buy just tons of gifts for Mickey and Holden. Which seeing them happy and having fun makes this holiday even more amazing. Plus my Dad was in a good mood for once, and it was so much fun having everyone together. Then we added yet another member to the family adoptive wise and have Brandon's friend Heather come spend Christmas with us. We had a amazingly fun get together, were we all got great gifts, and good food. Mickey and Holden got a Wii thanks to Jeremy and we all took turns playing on it.
I am pretty proud of myself because I have been able to ignore small triggers of things that would upset me or ruin the happiness this holiday has brought me this year.
The past few years I can't say I have had bad Christmas's, but they weren't happy or heart warming. I guess you can say I was fairly hum bug, although I didn't show it on the outside.
I am thankful to have enough money right now, I can pay my bills and then some. I am thankful for the fact that Egypt's puppies are healthy and happy. I am glad that me and my mom aren't fighting, because I know it is hard on the kids. Justin isn't a perfect boyfriend, but I am grateful that the longer we are together, the better he gets. I guess I am happy that I do have things good, and I am so glad to have this great Christmas, I know I will never forget it. :)

EHHHH
I am soo tired, but I can't sleep. I finally gave up and decided to get on the computer. World of Warcraft is shut down for maintenance. Blah. So I got on facebook and finally updated all my stuff on there. I am not alone in my not sleeping. Justin can't fall asleep either. We have a bunch of stuff to do today too! We have to take the dogs to get their shots, and drop off Garth to get him fixed. Oh, and before and after that we have to pick up and drop off the one dog I did sell because I told her I would get her shots for her. Then we have a eye appointment at WalMart for Chris and Justin. So they are both gonna get new glasses. Chris hasn't had his in years! Justin just needs new ones because he hasn't had his eyes checked in years.
Egypt is doing really good with her puppies. They are all very cute and healthy. I can't even tell which one is the runt of the litter. I am just still shocked she had a all white puppy. Pure white.
I am getting pretty excited for Christmas. I got almost all my gifts wrapped and ready to go! I have a hutch in the kitchen that has our tree on it, and it is covered in gifts. I am excited to see the kids freak out over what they are getting. Heck, I am gonna freak out over what they are getting! We are gonna have a blast! I have to say this year is coming to a pretty good end.

World of Warcraft

Wow, it has been over a month since I have posted on here. I guess I really haven't been in the blogging spirit much lately, but there is nothing like a good snow storm to get you stuck indoors and make you want to write! Especially when Blizzard chose now to download their new patch, and made my game sooo laggy that I can't play.
Which makes me wanna throw my laptop across the room. :)
ANYWAYS! I have come to the realization that I am a little more then addicted the game and I am trying during this down time to find other enjoyable activities to do. Like I have a new book from my House of Night series to read. I am the 5th book call Hunted. Which I have read most of it today and it has been really awesome so far. They only have one more book out right now. If I had gotten over to my mom's before the snow hit I could have been working on my Christmas cards. I don't have many to send, and she has some nice variety ones I can have. My mom always has everything in bulk.
I am kinda happy for all the snow, I am liking being closed in. Now it is a good thing, but in a few weeks it will be cabin fever like crazy!
This year has gone by really fast. It is hard to believe it is Christmas time again already. I am usually way more prepared for things like this, with gifts and such, but this year I am totally behind. I have fallen under the category of the last minute shopper!
I guess the main reason I wanted to write was because I was stressed about not being able to get onto World of Warcraft. I have made it to be an officer in my guild and I am holding our first contest, which is today! I can't even get online to play or help. So I kinda feel like a failure on that end. I know it isn't really my fault, but now I am kinda stressed on the inside. Well, I am gonna go spend some quality cuddle time with Justin. Wish me luck on getting my game to work right!

I had my first review at the library and got a raise! I am really enjoy working there. Books and I were meant to be together for sure. When ever I go to Des Moines we always stop at Boarders. I love this book store. It is wonderful! I love that they have a dollar book table and then they always have great sales too. I almost always find a wonderful book on sale that I love. This last trip I got a huge book called 'The Vampire Book: The Encyclopedia of the Undead'. It has over 900 pages of vampire information. I plan on reading everything. I am pretty vampire obsessed. I have been reading the House of Night book series. Justin has a Boarders membership, so when we buy things he earns points.
He was able to find a ton of vampire stories for me. He is into the 39 clues books. So he keeps up with them on there.
We still have a ton of unpacking to do, we have kind of took a break from that. I have been keeping an eye out for Christmas shopping. Holden is the hardest one to buy for. I took him over to his girlfriends house today. She is really nice and I like him spending time with her. He always has nice things to say about her.
I bought Coco a doggy shirt on sale at WalMart. She has been wearing it for a few days, and it looks really cute. I got it for her because she always seems to be cold lately. We still have all the puppies here. I really want to sell them. You just don't realize how much dogs can poop!!
Chris has been working weird shifts the past couple of weeks. He will work like 12 to 16 hours for a few days then be off work for 3 or 4 days. It has been hard on him.
I made up treat bags of Halloween candy for the three of us. I got the candy on sale on the first. The boys really liked it. Oh and I had Mickey with me when we went, and I got a dozen cupcakes to split. We don't really need 12 cupcakes for three people. So I gave them six and took six home.
Sam is a pathetic cuddle monster of a cat. I am trying to write this and he comes and throws himself across my right arm. He just purrs his heart away. Zoe has been super loving as well. I wonder if it is because she wants attention or because it is cold out.
This fall has been going pretty well so far.

Changes

Wow, it has been a long time since I have written, but that's okay. I have been super busy with a lot of different things! First off Coco's puppies will be nine weeks old on Sunday and they are still for sale! As well as Egypt, who is eight months old this month. We couldn't get our basement fixed at our old house, so we decided moving was the best option. After being given a long run around, we were able to get financed to buy a three bedroom manufactured home at the Sunrise Terrace Mobile Home park. The house has to stay here for four years, after that we plan on moving it to some land we plan on buying between now and then. We moved in here the last week of September, and so far I love it here. We are building custom shelves into the living room wall, so we have a nice place to store all our movies in there. I have been working on sanding and staining the wood myself. Chris is the builder and puts it all together. I think I am going to put one big shelf in my bedroom as well, for all my books. The master bedroom has a large garden tub that looks like a hot tub! I love all the space we have here. Plus they gave us our own space to store my car. Justin finally got me to go to one of this Pokemon tournaments with him. I played and had a blast. We are planning on going back again.
The house is still a moving mess for the most part. I don't work at Wal-Mart anymore. I got fired for stupid reasons, which was proven since I get unemployment from them. I still work at the library, but I am looking for a desk job at a hotel preferably. My Lyme's is up and down right now, I haven't finished transferring all my paper work yet so I can see my family doctor, instead of the dude in Grinnel who was ripping us off. I have been having big issues with putting things off lately, I know about things I have to get done, but I just seem to forget until I am in bed at night. It is very frustrating. I have been working on it.
A couple of days ago, we decided to take on a special needs dog. Her name is Lulu and she came from a drug house. She is ten weeks old and can't walk. Basically our goal is in the next six months is to teach her how to walk and be a normal dog her age. She is a sweet white terrier mix. She is always so happy too. Today we got her to play with all the puppies and it was pretty fun. We did have one couple come and look at buying one of the puppies today, but they said they would have to think about it. They were looking for a smaller chihuahua then these. Mine at the biggest are only ten pounds, but then I guess they were looking for something tiny. I really need to get at least one sold because I am taking Coco in to get fixed in a week and a half. So I could really use the money for that.
My family has the flu, so I am avoiding them for now. I have started my Christmas shopping. Everyday is a challenge to unpack more and get stuff done!

Five Months

I am technically a day late, but I wanted to write about this anyway. Yesterday was the day that me and Justin had been together for five months. Which is just shy of half a year, which is a pretty long time. I am so happy with him. I can see us together for many years and months to some for sure. He is very very good to me.
Anyways, a basic recap of what has happened in the last five months in our relationship goes kinda like this: First we met on the Internet. Then we went on out first date. Within the first week I backed my car into his. In the first month we moved in together. By the end of the second month, all my roommates moved out. We had a great Halloween and Thanks Giving together. In December, Justin totaled my car. Money got tight for Christmas. Spent Christmas with my family. We hit a few bumps along the way. This month we found 'our' song.Washing machine died and we replaced it together. So here we are now.
I wouldn't trade a single moment with him for the world. He really is the one for me. I feel safe and secure around him. I trust him extremely too. I don't think he would up and leave me. We have been through a lot in a little amount of time. I don't think I have ever been so close to some one. But I wanted to write about us a little bit.
